Originally from Castlebar, Co. Mayo, Terry lived in Dublin for 15 years before moving to Clonakilty in West Cork. He was always around fresh food and local produce – his father’s family ran a grocery shop in Castlebar, while his mother’s family grew up on a farm in Kilmaine, Co. Mayo.
Terry is married to Niamh, a local Conakilty girl, and has two children, Maisy and Harry.
His influences include the flavours of Spain, Italy and South East Asia and since moving to Clonakilty he has developed a keen interest in food provenance, local producers and local suppliers.
